I certainly agree with you to a point
I have never wanted us to go out and make masses of signings and overhaul the squad this summer because I don;t think it was necessary. i think the squad we went up with has a decent shout of staying up and if added to with 3 or 4 quality additions would have a very good shout. Its always been a case of quality of quantity for me and I think Mulumbu and Brady are two astute signings who will do well for us.
Jim's main "concern" though going into the season is that we have not strengthened the defence at all and despite statistically not being too bad i thought our defence was hugely unconvincing for pretty much the whole season last season. If you make mistakes in the premier league you get punished and this defence makes mistakes. I am therefore really, really surprised and a little disappointed that we have not (as yet) made this a priority area in our recruitment this summer or if we have, we appear to have been unsuccessful.

- As I said yesterday though Ruddy being back in form could make a difference (n/m) (NCFC) - Jim, Aug 4, 09:46:11
- we await to see whether Ruddy's "return to form" can be sustained (NCFC) - pab, Aug 4, 09:53:48
- Yes although Ruddy's worst games have tended to be when he's not under "sustained (NCFC) - Jim, Aug 4, 10:10:36
- Agree with that but maybe Rudd is good enough to challenge Ruddy (NCFC) - Dunney, Aug 4, 09:59:33
