Re. Signings. The point is our defence is s**t................ ....

It was s**t last time we were in the Prem despite Hughtons defensive tactics, and it was dodgy last season in the Championship. It is the same defence as the last time we in the PL.
We have Turner who is not up to it, Bassong who is pretty decent but who has been relegated with Wolves also, Ryan Bennet who hasn't really shown that he is up to it, Russell Martin who you don't really know whether he is a full back or a centre back. Then we have Ignasi Miquel who made how many appearances last season? and has been put in with the under 21's on the tour.
Then in goal we have Ruddy who looked very dodgy last season at times and whom I don't have a lot of confidence in. If he makes the errors next season like he did last season then that alone will cost us several points.
So for me we need more defensive signings. If you think we don't then you are deluded.
