About Iwan

Just before Christmas 2004 my niece (then aged nearly 12) went to Centre Parcs for some day trip (no idea what for) but got to meet a couple of City players, one of whom was Iwan. When he agreed to sign enough autographs for all her City supporting friends and family she became a bit overwhelmed by it all and started to cry at meeting such a legend. If you've ever read his book/diary he actually refers to this incident but not by name.

That year was also the one, and only, time I have unwrapped a Christmas present to reveal a blank piece of paper. On turning it over it wa sactually one of the autographs he'd signed for her. Legend and a top bloke too.
