They were expected to do. Often ricky looked lost up front on his own with Hughton. I'd like to think that AN Wouldnt play him at all if he didn't have a role in kind the 1) he was capable of and 2) the team was set up to allow him to do.
His goal last night was typical of the goals he got for sporting, arriving at the back post to tap in a low cross. When dos we ever do that under Hughton?
