Had we been bringing in quality players I could perhaps have accepted the figure quoted, but paying that to bring in the players stated, sorry something is wrong there. Maybe the agents are chancing it knowing we have been in the Premiership and will be receiving the parachute payments despite being relegated but, that being the case, why on earth are we agreeing to it.

Also Etuhu's initial loan should count in those figures, surely? Unless some upfront cash was changing hands (between us and PNE) they would not have agreed to let us take him.
