Its fine and cheap
I tended to buy from Google play so was a no brainer at the time but I prefer the browse and select on screen of the fire stick. On CC you have to do it on your phone then cast your choice to the device and it works, 90-something% of the time. I found it took an age for it to synch to my droid phone over my WiFi when I first moved house tho, which was a pain but its fine now I've sorted my network out.
Depends where your content is to an extent. It allows casting of a few other things, like YouTube and other apps, as well as being able to cast your desktop to your telly if, for some reason, you want to.
