We have the Dyson animal stick version, the little portable one,
The wife loves it for just spot cleaning and getting dog hair off the stairs/tiles. Personally I think it's not got particularly good suction, everything sticks to the attachments on the end and needs a proper good clean every other time you use it. That could be because we have a ridiculously hairy dog.
The proper Dyson cleaners will suck your head off. (not that one, well, maybe, depending on your preferences. I've not found an attachment for that though). That thing is so powerful I think they could power planes and s**t with the motor in it. Sweet baby Jesus and the orphans! It's good!
