I suppose Ali would be played primarily as a batsman

I don't think they will do it but as Rashid can bat its worth a thought. Question is are Rashid, Butler or Stokes good enough to bat at 5?

Ballance has a pretty impressive average so would also be harsh on him after one poor series.
