Rigters made his debut for Norwich as a late substitute in the 5-1 victory over Colchester on 22nd March 2008. He set up the fourth goal for the Canaries which gave Jamie Cureton his first hat-trick for the Canaries. Unfortunately he suffered a hamstring injury ten minutes after coming on as a substitute against Bristol City on 29 March 2008 and thus his loan spell at Carrow Road came to an abrupt end.
