Generally I don't have an issue with it no but then there is a legitimate point that

Clubs (in part due to supporters money) are paying these guys sh*t loads of money, presumably through the summer as well when they are in contract, to do what they do which is a job that depends on physical fitness and good health and therefore for anyone who does such a job to get in the state he appears to be in is a legitimate concern for his employers, particularly coming very soon after he was warned for the legal high stuff.

If you live the ridiculously privileged life of a professional footballer and reap all the benefits that go with it then you perhaps have to accept that you have less leeway that the average joe when it comes to getting paraletic and passing out on the pavement!
