I've got a really old antique clock on the mantlepiece
which although works perfectly, I never ever wind it up as the noise drives me nuts.
Just got home to find it fully wound and ticking away like someone repeatedly smashing me on each temple with a hammer. Nobody to my knowledge has been here since I left this morning. Weird and f**king annoying.
