Depends what kind of run it is

Easy/recovery - general pop, mix of 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s and 10s; or a podcast

Hard run (fartlek/intervals/hills) - 20 mins general pop as above then kicking metal for the hard bit then something easier on the ears for the warmdown

Long run (>1hr) - my problem is starting too fast and running out of puff, so I often start with a podcast or something like some slow Pink Floyd, then some dancy pop, then some more rocky stuff (not the heavy stuff like Rammstein/Metallica/Motorhead though) with the occasional change of style thrown in to keep it fresh. When mara training long runs can be up to 200 minutes or so and any one genre gets dull after a while so I switch around quite a lot.

My last easy-run looks like this: I predict a riot, Bohemian like you, Personal Jesus, Wings (yes, Little Mix, really!), Don't stop me now, Going Underground, Breakfast In America, Monster, Shake it up, Can't get you out of my head. Next time it will all be different songs.
