City to begin 2015-16 pre-season away to Gorleston

NORWICH City can now confirm part of their pre-season schedule ahead of the 2015-16 Barclays Premier League campaign.

Alex Neil's side will begin with a trip to Gorleston on Saturday, July 11 (3pm) before visiting Hitchin Town on Tuesday, July 14 (7:45pm).

The meeting with the latter coincides with 150th anniversary of the original formation of the Hertfordshire Club, who are also nicknamed the Canaries due to their green and yellow kit.

City will then face Cambridge United at the R Costings Abbey Stadium on Friday, July 17 (7:30pm).

The Canaries' first home fixture of pre-season will see them host West Ham United on Tuesday, July 28 (7:45pm) in a repeat of the first match held at the stadium 80 years previously.

A Norwich City XI are set to travel to Lincoln City the following day (7:45pm), ahead of the first team playing Brentford at Carrow Road on Saturday, August 1 (3pm)

Tickets for both home friendlies are priced at ?10 for adults and senior citizens and ?5 for under-17s.

Seats are now on general sale in the Geoffrey Watling City Stand, Jarrold Stand and lower tiers online, by calling 0844 826 1902 or by visiting the ticket office at Carrow Road or the official stores at Chapelfield or Castle Mall.

Meal and seat packages in The Darren Huckerby Matchday Club, which includes a three-course pre-match meal and executive seating in the Jarrold Stand, will be available from ?75 per person.

Further details relating to ticketing processes and prices will be released in due course, with fixtures subject to change.

Details of a pre-season training camp will also be made available once confirmed.
