What a day...

Rushed home through Atlanta traffic to watch the game... walk in the door 5 minutes after kick-off thinking as I turned the TV on to see the score "for once, I would LOVE it for us to be 2-0 up already after some sort of insane start"... would never have believed I'd actually see that unfold in the next 10 minutes.
Scared my American son when some epic yellage when Redmond scored... tried to explain why I was going a slightly mental. Spent the next 75 minutes in tense disbelief and only really thought we would win when the clock hit 90 minutes.
Called my dad (season ticket holder for 60+ years but too old to go to Wembley) at the final whistle, he was in tears, I was too.
Crikey.
But really, g-t-fi'ng-f-in. Epic stuff. So proud.
