Just arrived home

Wonderful, wonderful day. Something truly special. The sights and sounds of thousands of Norwich fans decked out in yella 'n' green inside WEMBLEY will stay with me forever. Fantastic day from start to finish. Met some top people, including Boro fans who were all incredibly gracious after the game, wishing us luck.

That performance was exactly what we required from our players today, on it right from the off. Special mention to Whittaker who was granite for the most part, whilst also classy going forward (as usual). Jerome is a beast and looked willing to die for the cause. Fought for everything and looked shattered when he came off. Redmond looks like he's become a man in footballing terms during these playoff games, the end product is also there now.

Alex Neil? What a man. An absolute hero. To come in and gain such incredible results in such a pressure situation where we had to win almost every game to go up automatically was impressive, but our performances in these playoff games have generally been even better, being very tenacious, composed and organised barring a couple of errors. All qualities which sum up Alex Neil in a nutshell. He's done a hell of a job and we need to back him next season regardless of what happens (look at Leicester with Pearson).

OTBC!
