Well that's the conundrum isn't it
If the voting system changed to be more proportional I think there would be room for a proper socialist party - like the SNP without the nationalism - and a centrist-leftish party. Under our current system though the only way voices of the genuine left can be heard is through Labour winning power. But Labour can't win power as genuine socialists and that voice will always be diluted in any Labour gummint.
