don't think their midfield are very creative

that's why they don't score that many goals despite their strikers being bl**dy dangerous.

Their defence is very strong when they are able to just sit everyone behind the ball - as Fulham demonstrated they're very ropey if they have to chase the game and this don't get as much cover.

So first goal is crucial - if they get it it just allows them to play their preferred game as at Carra. They're pretty robotic - if you can force them to change and adapt they tend to blow a fuse.
