Redmond through the middle

I've been on about this a few times since Grabbans been injured/banned.

I think it could be his best role. Takes away his major weakness (erratic crossing, tendancy to hold up a run down the wing and dither) and plays to his major strengths (amazing first touch and close control, intense acceleration, powerful shot cutting in on right foot, decent pass over short range and occasionally long)

Perhaps long term he will be the heir to the Wes role? Yes he probably wouldn't drop as deep and make the play like Wes, but he offers far more penetration (!) and pace, would be a nightmare to try and close down by either a big centrehalf stepping up or a defensive midfielder, who always seem to easily overpower Wes, without getting turned or conceding a foul.

In summary, Redmond through the middle gets MY vote. Forza our little Kid n' Play haired fingerpointing inferno!
