The root cause of the problem

Liverpool went to Palace, pissed around and lost. If they had won there would be no problem. But if we're going to change the rules "because they are Liverpool" then let's change a few more. How about bringing one in where, if you win a match via a "goal" that didn't cross the line, the match is replayed.
