I didn't think Ipswich stood any chance of beating us
over the two legs and after watching the game yesterday nothing has changed my mind. City are not particularly happy dealing with the long hoof that Ipswich employ but that is their strength and you can't blame them for using it. I confidently expect victory by at least a two-goal margin on Saturday and I'm afraid the delusional bunch on TWAT who think otherwise are going to be very disappointed indeed.
As an aside I really don't think the average Town supporter has actually thought through what promotion would mean. A team costing ?110,000 in total is NOT going to compete in the Premier Leaue and their businessman owner would be the proverbial rat up a drainpipe in immediately clawing back the Club's debt owed to himself approaching ?100,000,000 resulting in an instant return to the Championship. Talk about cloud cuckoo land!
