sto they're voting for today, let alone remember what was in it 28 year down the line?

but you've also raised a good point there, how many people actually agree 100% with everything that their chosen party promises to do?

if people were honest (and plenty of tribal types would rather die than admit they might agree more with part of an opponent's manifesto above their own...) none of them do.

we all have to make some compromise when we vote, same as politicians have to make some compromises when they join a party and then even more if/when they get into power.

mostly that's just what being a grown up is.
