Folks still do. I wouldn't move back though, it's gone downhill over the last few years. There has been an influx of chavs who seem to have taken over te town.
Pubs - grebe - this is a dump, the swan is ok. The high street is made up hairdressers and take aways, Cawdrons the butchers is great. Tesco has changed the high street completely and the Tuesday market is long gone. Stalham Town are a steady senior football side.
By boat to Carrow Road would be a very, very long ride, best part of a day but is do-able
