I wasn't a batter but i've batted there and didn't like it.Now to me, it was mooted in the press about him opening, so there's been a collective will for gim to give it a crack.If he can't open, and part of that collective will for him to open was due to a lack of a permanent partner gor Cook, then i'd give him a crack at 5.tbf he came back now to get a crack at the aussie c**ts. He has earnt the right to fail, unless England coaches know without doubt he's still pschologically fragile.
