should the ref have let him do it every time tho?

was obviously gamesmanship, as there was no reason why he had to give the ball to the player every time. I also thought that each time, as the players took the ball off him, he just held on to it for a split second longer than he needed to, so they had to stretch for it. Just putting a bit of extra pressure on them.

I thought the ref seemed a bit weak throughout. FOr example the first minute free-kick was a dive, and he should really have sent Gattuso off for the pen, with the rules as they are.

Not saying he was awful - just that presumably he's the most highly rated ref in Europe? Bit depressing if so.
