I don't quite understand the assumption that if we hadn't of appointed Adams we'd have DEFINITELY got A N (Other) manager who would have definitely had us already promoted.

It's a possibility yes, but let's be real - we are where we are and that is that. If we'd have won last night we'd all be just fine and dandy today. We didn't, but we will go into play-offs...
