Re. Dean Ashton

I am sure that you are all aware of the uestions regarding Dean Ashton on saturday. The board and the manager have now made it very clear that they do not wish to sell the player; indeed, it would take an extravagent offer for the board to even consider the transfer of Dean Ashton.

Norwich City Football Club is committed to progress, prudence with ambition and, above all, togetherness. Recent results have proved the board to be correct in standing by the manager, as the majority of fans now accept.

I wish all fans a happy new year and, rest assured, the football club will do everything possible to ensure a return to the Premier League.
