I go with that - Ed Balls is the worry. But could I vote for a shiny-faced Tory?

Seriously, it seems to me that the coalition has done a surprisingly reasonable job with the economy. Of course, no one knows whether we'd be better off if there's been less of a squeeze. I'm still pissed off that the bankers have got off without a single electrode attached to a single genital, but I didn't really expect that satisfaction.

What has impressed me a bit is Vince Cable's handling of industry. There are a lot of quangos now to encourage new tech, but at the moment they seem to be working.

But you don;t get Cable without Clegg/
