Machete.
Best tool I ever bought, by a billion miles, ever.
Just spent three hours machete-ing brambles, and various other overgrown bushes and shrubs. Best gardening ever.
I now cannot bend my elbow much more than about 30?, but whatever. I'll be having an ale tonight.
