If two teams finish level on goal difference am I correct in thinking it then
Is decided on "goals scored" rather than the head to head results between the two sides?
I suppose you have to split teams somehow but what an absolutely gutting way to miss out on promotion that would be. Results in the games between the sides would be much fairer.
