Yes. Reason being that
they're mostly made by small independent breweries, who therefore (a) don't make them in large enough scale to be that well-known, and (b) don't have tie-ins with pub chains that make their beer widely available.
The beers are, of course, mostly better than the top selling stuff you see in chain pubs. Not even up for debate.
Do agree with you though that it has all got a bit too hoppy. But that's me back on a very boring hobby horse.
