like most rothers, I've got no time for the election grandstanding and posturing

that's been going on on here. But - I did have one question I waswondering about (feel free to just stop reading at this point if even this election-related post is too annoying...)

Over the last 24 hours there's been plenty of coverage of the Fallon attack on Miliband for being a 'back-stabber'. And quite a bit of the coverage - though criticial of the attack, in general - has said that there is a chord to be struck here. People supposedly don't trust Miliband because he stood against his brother.

Have been genuinely a bit surprised / puzzled by all this. Do rothers who are vaguely interested in politics have that view?

I would have thought that the vast majority of people only dimly remember it happening, have little interest in one Miliband vs another, and more generally would expect all politicians to do That Kind Of Thing to gain power anyway.

But am I wrong on that, and it genuinely has left people uncomfortable with him somehow?

(Chelts and other fiercely partisan rothers on either side need not reply - I already know what you'll say...)
