The ref was equally to blame
He can't ignore the game while he tries to tell a player to leave the pitch. If he had stopped the match like he should have done Johnson would have left the pitch and there would be nothing to talk about.
The fact he was made to go off and then came back on immediately shows the stupidity of the decision.
