Elvis Presley is 71 years old today...

And he didn't look too bad when I saw him in my local a few hours ago.He's more Elvis The Replacement Pelvis these days but he is still quality compared to the s**te they have now.

Anyway,he agrees that things could be better at the club but too many things are happening off the pitch and it is putting added pressure on to the players on the day.He thinks that if Ashton is going,then go now so we can get his replacement(s) used to playing our system of football.We are a long way from even resembling a Premier league side,but then we're not in the Premier league.We are however,very capable of finishing in the top six of this division.He said that people should remember that when we did have that remarkable run to Cardiff,that we were nowhere to be seen at this stage of the season.The club showed remarkable spirit then and it seems a shame that the weight of expectation is holding down the team down right now.He's not a huge fan of Worthington and thinks that any potential success will be achieved in spite of him,rather than because of him.But whilst things are as they are,he will give everyone involved with the running of the club his fullest support and just hope for the best.

And then he downed another treble vodka and did a few Shakin Stevens songs on the karaoke........
