as Worthington was getting ready for his radio norfolk interview, when they were getting the microphone etc ready apparently Worthy joked to Joe Ferrari " apparently we've sold Ashton for ?7million, that is ?7million in the bank for me, lovely!", Joe Ferrari caught on that Nigel was pissing about and went along with him.

Then Roger Mumby walked down the corridor and Nigel said the same thing to him, Mumby did not catch on however.

According to my source the way Nigel was talking it is very unlikely that we have sold him. Plus would Nigel really say that if we have sold Ashton? No one will trust him ever again, and he knows that it would make him very unpopular.
