Same with the Sheffield Half and the Don Valley stadium. You'd finish the Half with a lap around the outside perimeter of the stadium, and then drop down onto the running track (athletics stadium, so proper track) to finish on the straight in front of the main stand, full of baying friends/family. Such an incredible experience. And then stretch out on the grass in the middle of the track while other runner get their cheer and clappy.

I'd recommend it, but of course Don Valley stadium has just been bulldozed into the ground, since the local authority said it was unaffordable.

So it goes.
