I received this lovely message today which cheered me after a very tough week.

A friend of mine who got so fed up with her lads obsession with football decided to get involved and help them achieve the most they could. She now has coaching badges, has been invited to join the FA in some capacity but declined, has just returned from a tour of Brazil with the Corinthians, and administers about a dozen grass roots junior football leagues.

I'm only telling you this because a)I'm incredibly proud to know this amazing lady and
b)She is the source the free/discounted Fulham tickets some of you have enjoyed over the last few years.

Taylor is excelling in football, he's being selected for all sorts around the country, off to Tenerife in May with college to train with their academy etc - and he's still sleeping on a mattress on the floor after his old bed broke. So not only have you helped me, you've helped a budding young athlete who's fought a large amount of battles to get where he is so far, top of his college in all years both on the pitch & in the classroom, put one of the final bits of his teenage jigsaw together - he needs to be comfortable & sleep well. So thank you so so so much, I want you to know how much positive impact this is going to have. You're the best! Do you know, he's lost over 11 stone now? And still working on it alllllll the time..... How's things with you, is everything looking up? Are you happier? I really hope so."
