Recording stoodioo questions (if anyone can help, maybe)..

Questions:

1. What is the difference between Pro Tools and Logic home editions?

2. Does either of those have built in effects or are they bolt on extras?

3. Do I need to get a separate sampler or do they include that facility?

4. What?s a good all round mic (voice and guitar) but not uber-expensive?

5. Are there any issues with regards to recording guitars as opposed to using, say, decks or a Juno or summat?

6. Anything else I should know?

7. Is there any danger of me sounding like the dreadful KT Turnstyle?

We are very much talking beginner stuff here?
