He doesn't have to. Worthy will ask for a physio report. For example

when I was coaching the national (American Football) team here in Holland, our physio sent a weekly report around to all the coaches with the player list broken down to "fully fit" "can play but not 100%", "can play if player happy with it" and "cannot play".

We never, ever argued with their assessment. I'm sure Worthy's relationship with Reynolds is the same. He wouldn't like Reynolds to overrule him about football tactics (although maybe we would), and vice versa.
