Seriously though, as much as I'm in favour of a boycott, I'm aware how futile it'd be in real terms. Even if they weren't building infrastructure for WC2022, I expect the same numbers of the same people would be dying on other Qatari construction sites.

However, doesn't mean everyone has to be happy that our sport's premier showcase event is being hosted under these circumstances.

What can I do? Apart from the square root of f**k all? Write to my MP? Write to the FA? Start a f**king #BoycottQatar2012 hashtag on the twitters?

I probably will do the first two. I guess someone's already done the third.
