I was even accused of trolling by some! The same folk then accused me of trolling when, after the 2014 World Cup draw was made, I said Spain would go out in the 1st round.

I'm not always wrong - but seeing as I tipped Argentina to win that tournament, I'm not always right either. :(

More generally, yes, my pomposity is a HUGE problem. It's the flipside of my earnestness and insecurity. Don't do it deliberately, but I doubt it'll ever change much sadly.
