In football, wrong decisions will still happen with technology

I know I am in the minority but it looks like the Watford player took Wes down to me, ref also agrees with me but majority seem to think it was never a pen. Similar story with the Kane penalty today. The ref is a lot closer to the incident than people in the stands or watching on TV so maybe he has seen something they can't?
