Spent about three months in the summer with bt
telling me it was router problems and went through a regular fiasco of rebooting, knowing all the time it was a fault at source. Eventually an engineer visit confirmed that they'd never configured it correctly in the first place - and five minutes later fixed. The faulty router seems to be the first stalling tactic...mine was complicated as it was where I was living for work so I'd lose the chance to call at weekends but good luck because you're going to have fun!
