Paul Lambert at Norwich. Paul Lambert at Villa. Two completely different people

From young, passionate, driven, someone who thought about everything he said at all times, someone who we all thought was destined for the very top (there were Norwich fans who quite reasonably thought he could be Fergie's successor, or wind up at Dortmund)... to THIS.

It's not just how awful Villa have been for almost his entire time there. It's Lambert himself: dishevelled, depressed, looking like a complete mess. Entirely unrecognisable in every way.

He is without doubt one of the three greatest Norwich City managers in history (many would argue the greatest), and I'd wish him well if he'd merely got us out of League 1, never mind the rest of it. But how does he recover from this? I'm really not sure that he can. This job has broken him from where I'm sat.
