In the UK, I never subscribed to SKY. Refused to be held to ransom by Murdoch and his racket. Towards the end of my time in Britain, and ever since I've been here, whenever I've wanted PL football, I've found a stream. Easy. Crystal clear, ad blocker ensuring no issues with malware, free of charge.

There must be thousands of folk out there who do just as I do - so why, given how easily accessible the coverage is, are the rights worth so much? If SKY and BT aren't paying for de facto exclusivity, what on Earth are they paying for?
