Worthy's "he's not hungry" piece in the paper a few days back appears to be the main reason to me. He'd of been much better off saying "we can't afford him" if that is the reason. Personally i think he's wrong on this. Wages aside he would of been a great player for use, experienced, competitive and can play at CB or CF. EXACTLY the sort of player we need in a small squad like ours. TBH he could probably of done a job in midfield for us too. Gutted.
