Despite the pr spin clubs like Bournemouth and Brentford put out I reckon they are spending more on players and wages than they let on. No way Wilson would have turned us down for Bournemouth unless they were offering wages that were broadly comparable. They also signed the likes of Gosling from Everton who must have been on decent money.
Brentfords team may not be household names but I presume players like Pritchard are probably on decent money at Spurs even if they are not first team regulars.
