not strictly true really, is it?
Liverpool were not really solely responsible for the european ban. It was the tragic culmination of years of hooliganism, in europe and domestically, for which many norwich fans were also responsible. Would liverpool fans have done any running if they hadn't done it with reciprocation at every stadium in the 1st division for years?
And it's nice for an english team other than man u, chelski or arsenal to win something, innit?
