Brentford were us four years ago. Bound together by a committment to get the the Premier League and 'make it' as players. Our players have virtually all been Premier League players and in their eyes have already 'made it'. They don't have that same desire and hunger to scramble up the ladder.
It's why almost all relegated teams struggle to match what they should achieve 'on paper'. They've already got their big fat contracts and don't 'need it' as badly.
