Even some of the simplest things seemed hard for him yesterday. There was one point where someone, Redders I think, had made a brilliant run on the left. A really good break.
He passed the ball to Whittaker at about 30 yards who let the ball bobble over his foot and promptly lost it.
Time and time again that seemed to happen for him yesterday and it just became incredibly frustrating to watch. To the point that I started to groan any time I saw him even near the ball.
Having slept on it I understand he was under pressure and out of position, but it was basic pro-football type control and skills he was lacking. Don't know if it was nerves or what but he had a really, really bad day.
