...x amount of numbers are phoned at random and once the first, say, 20 pick up, the other numbers ring until they too are answered and then after a short while automatically hang up...a great fav of OAP's that cos they think there's someone there trying to freak them out by not talking to them when of course, there isn't, just a hooge compoo'er regulating which numbers get rung...
